What People Feel

"If you’re looking for an array of soul food classics, with good music, and southern hospitality this is definitely a spot you should try out. When we came for brunch this place was already packed, so we put our name on the wait list and it took about 25-30 minutes until our table was available. When we sat down our server greeted us immediately, but we could tell she was a bit overwhelmed due to it being so busy. We decided to order the Deviled eggs with fried shrimp (2 piece) for our appetizer, Lo-Lo’s chicken and waffles, and the Famous soul food platter with fried catfish, fried okra, mac & cheese and a side of cornbread. Our appetizer came out pretty fast and it was absolutely delicious. The meals took sometime for us to receive, but it all came out very fresh and piping hot. All of our food looked amazing, but they came on smaller plates so it made it difficult to eat at times. The fried catfish was cooked perfectly, very flaky, and had a nice crunchy crust. The mac & cheese and fried okra tasted very good, but the cornbread was dry. The fried chicken was fried well, but needed just a tad bit of salt. The waffle was so fluffy, sweetened to perfection, and had a strong cinnamon flavor that mingled well with the slabs of butter and warm, sugary syrup. Overall, the food was very good, the atmosphere had a fun vibe, and we would definitely come back to try out more of their signature dishes."
"Had a lovely lunch. Everything came out hot and fresh. My server Rodney was very polite and attentive 5 stars ⭐ for him my drink never ran dry and he never made me feel crowded. The food I did not manage to finish, is coming home for round 2!!"
"I really liked this place!! We didn't really have a wait because we arrived 10 minutes before they opened. They're were people outside waiting, but sat everyone as quickly as possible. The service was wonderful!! Chris was very nice and accommodating. The food was good but not great. My chicken was seasoned, crispy and juicy, but pretty small. They looked like more like chicken wings not chicken legs. The waffle was delicious and the cheesy grits were plain grits with no seasoning and shredded cheese on top. I would still go back and maybe try something different because the food and service is good"
"Great service, short wait time, the food was absolutely delicious. Some of the best cornbread! Catfish, chicken, Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy and the shrimp delived eggs were outstanding."
"MUST GIVE IT A TRY!!! I had a wonderful experience at this establishment. The staff was attentive, the food was flavorful with generous portions, and the drinks were outstanding — both the alcoholic options and the Kool-Aid. I especially want to acknowledge the bartender, Rodney (if I have his name right), for his excellent service and great attitude. Thank you for making my first visit so enjoyable!"
"This is our second time coming to Lo Lo’s and the food is what keeps us coming back! They accommodated our party of 7 within about 15 minutes, which was great. Our drinks were delicious, and even though the food took a little long, every table was occupied so it was understandable. Overall, another great experience we’ll definitely be back!"
"I definitely have to say the food was really good and full of flavor. The atmosphere was really good too. The music was definitely Vibing and it was just an overall good experience. I definitely have to say the Kool-Aid was a bit sweet, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m definitely recommending this place to all my family and friends."
"While in Vegas my boyfriend and I visited this place. We've never heard of this place. I wanted chicken so he found this place on Google. There was no wait to be seated, not too busy when we first made it just steady. But it the waitress at least 15 mins or so to greet our table. When she finally did it was the driest, not friendly greeting ever. The time we waited we were able to view the menu and decide what we wanted to eat and drink. The drinks we ordered was Georgia on My Mind and Lo Lo's Punch. The drinks came out an they were HORRIBLE. We asked the waitress if we could change them. She sent a manager to our table and he told use all drinks are final. No change could be made. I literally almost had to argue with him that the drinks tasted like watered down tea and kool aid. He eventually bought a cup of kool aid and remade the other drink. It was fye "as the kids say"...lol Food: Backwood's and Chicken dinner nothing bad to say about food AT ALL! Both plates was delicious. The smothered gravy and onions...OOOOOMY!! . Will it go back again ABSOLUTELY. Because the manager made sure we were okay the rest of the time we were there."
